Funny, But Make it Fashion

Funny, But Make It Fashion is a live comedy-fashion competition where stand-up comedians become creative directors and audience members become runway models. After each comedian performs a set, an original T-shirt design inspired by one of their jokes is revealed, and a live fashion campaign is created onstage in real time. Originally created and produced in New Orleans, Funny, But Make It Fashion hopes to transform laughter into wearable art while raising funds to support healthcare access for Chicago comedians through its partnership with the Health Alliance for Chicago Comedians (HACC).

The Den Theatre and comedy club is pleased to host Funny, But Make it Fashion on October 14, 2026 at 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.
