What is the age limit on your comedy shows?

Our Heath comedian shows are recommended for ages 13+. We do ask that any patron under 18 is accompanied by an adult aged 21+.

Are you open for Christmas and New Year’s Eve?

The Den Theatre and The Den Bar & Lounge will be closed December 24, 25 and 26. We will also be closed January 1.

Do you have food and drink?

The Den Theatre has our own bar, The Den Bar & Lounge, where you can order an assortment of snacks and drinks. All drinks and small snacks purchased at The Den Bar & Lounge are allowed in our performance spaces.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed.

Do you allow pictures and video of your performances?

Video and photography is strictly prohibited in all performance spaces. If you are caught taking photography or video you will be asked to delete it and potentially asked to leave, without a refund.

Are your seats assigned or general admission?

Most of our Heath Mainstage events are assigned seating. You will select the seats you would like during your checkout process on our website or at our box office. These seating assignments will not change.

Most of our other performances and events are general admission and seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. There may be limited reserved or VIP seating in which case the box office or producing company will assign you a particular seat. If you require accessible seating or would like to be sat next to other people, please reach out to the box office no later than 24 hours prior to your performance to ensure we can accommodate your request.

Do you allow late seating?

Most of our shows do not allow or have very limited late seating. If you do not show up on time for a show, you may not be allowed entry for the safety of the actors and yourself. If the show has an intermission you may be allowed to wait till intermission for seating.

Do you offer exchanges or refunds?

The Den Theatre does not offer refunds and only offers exchanges in special circumstances and only for the same show, for an additional fee. Contact the Box Office with your order number, the day you want to exchange to, and well in advance of the performance you were scheduled to attend.

Are your spaces ADA accessible?

All of our theaters are accessible. If you plan on seeing a show at our venue, please reach out to the Box Office after you have made your purchase and we will ensure that a ground level seat is reserved for your needs.

We have an elevator from the 1st to the 2nd floor and a chair lift from the 2nd to the 3rd floor. Please ask for Box Office assistance when you require their usage.

What is your bag policy?

The Den Theatre permits small bags and backpacks. Please note that any large bag may be subject to a bag check at security. The Den Theatre does not offer coat check, so please be mindful of the size of your personal belongings as they will need to be comfortably stored at your seat.

Do you have parking or valet?

The Den Theatre does not currently have parking or valet. We strongly urge the usage of the following applications ParkChicago, Spot Hero, Park Whiz, and Parq Ex.

Do you rent your spaces?
