THE DEN THEATRE’S COVID-19 VACCINE POLICY

As guidelines are evolving on a frequent basis, so may these policies. We encourage you to please check back here prior to attending any events to confirm current protocols.

What is The Den Theatre’s current policy regarding COVID-19?

Vaccine Requirement:  Effective November 21, 2022, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required to attend performances at The Den Theatre. However, The Den encourages everyone to be fully vaccinated at their earliest opportunity, in the ongoing effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Masking Requirement: As of March 17, 2022, masking will no longer be required at The Den Theatre. However, we still strongly encourage our patrons to continue wearing a mask to optimize the safety of our live theatre and comedy events. Additionally, some resident companies in the building may require continued mask usage and/or food & beverage restrictions while in performance. Moving forward, The Den Theatre will follow the guidelines recommended by Chicago Department of Public Health and CDC Community Risk Levels as outlined in the City of Chicago COVID dashboard. Additional Policies

Wellness: Any person who feels unwell or (a) has any COVID-19 Symptoms, (b) has had a positive COVID-19 test in the past 10 days, or (c) has had close contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19 agrees not to come to The Den Theatre. Please call our Audience Services team at 773-697-3830 where we will be happy to work with you to either reschedule your tickets, or to provide you with a credit for a future show. 

Risk: Attendees understand that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Those purchasing or attending Den Theatre events voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Compliance: All Den Theatre attendees must follow all health and safety procedures and signage posted while at Den events. The Den Theatre reserves the right to require visitors who do not follow our guidelines to leave an event immediately. Any visitors who are disrespectful or discourteous to other guests, staff or volunteers may also be asked to leave.
