In a series of short works, Conveyor explores the movement of communication and how it shapes our inner and outer worlds. When information flows in droves through voice, body, and tech, what happens in the gap between what is sent and what is received? Through moments of clarity, connection, chaos, or contradiction, each piece offers its own perspective on the unspoken and amplified exchanges that unfold between us every day.

Laboratory Dancers is a Chicago-based artist collective that wants to make dance accessible to newcomers and engaging to those familiar with the scene. Reveling in improvisation, sensory-driven movement, and playful exploration, we work with the intricacies of our lived experiences and the broader dynamics that shape them. Our process is collaborative and curious, and our intention is to create work that invites meaningful connections and dialogue. We want to make visitors feel comfortable inside the venue and riveted inside the work.
