Welcome to Unpopular Opinion, the live interactive presentation experience where bold people take the stage to defend their hottest, funniest, most controversial, and most unpopular opinions in front of a crowd of strangers.

Using slides, stories, “evidence,” and pure confidence, presenters make their case while the audience reacts in real time with laughs, cheers, debates, gasps, and occasional disappointment.

Before each presentation, the crowd votes on whether they agree or disagree with the opinion. After the presentation, they vote again to see if the presenter actually changed minds or completely lost the room.

But the energy doesn’t stop there. Audience members can challenge takes, ask questions, debate with presenters, and engage with each other throughout the night, turning every event into a mix of comedy show, debate night, social experiment, and absolute chaos.

Whether you’re presenting or just spectating, expect big reactions, wild opinions, nonstop crowd interaction, and fun conversations that continue long after the event ends.

If you'd like to be a presenter at Unpopular Opinion Chicago, please email 2 potential submission topics to somethingdifferentinquiry@gmail.com got approval. Presentation instructions will be sent after your topic is approved by the Something Different team.
