{THE} HOUR is a devastatingly hilarious riff on the 1998 book and the 2002 film The Hours. Witness three of Chicago's finest homosexual character actresses explore the intertwined lives of three women across different eras—Ed Jones as Clarissa Vaughn (2001), Alex Grelle as Laura Brown (1950s), and Tyler Anthony Smith as Virginia Woolf (1920s)—all connected by Woolf's novel Mrs. Dalloway. Simply put: it's The Hours in an hour.

Written by Alex Grelle and Tyler Anthony Smith and directed by Derek Van Barham, {THE} HOUR explores themes of mental illness, suppressed desires, and the search for meaning in a single, pivotal day. LOL HAPPY PRIDE!
