In Los Angeles, it’s the job of this group of parents to watch movies all day. Every day. The ratings board sets the content level on up to 900 films per year. These parents watch every boring, bombastic, vile, and embarrassing scene shoulder to shoulder with their coworkers. Parental Guidance Suggested from playwright Kelle Long explores the hilarious interactions of this group and how movies are assigned ratings from G to R by the most innocent members of the movie business.

Parental Guidance Suggested was awarded Best New Play (Non-Professional) by BroadwayWorld Kansas City and was recognized as a Finalist for the Princess Grace Award/New Dramatists Fellowship.
