The Chicago High School For The Arts is the city’s only public performing arts high school. Since 2009, the school has been offering 2,500 hours of free pre-professional training to students from all over the city of Chicago in the disciplines of Creative Writing, Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. The school is also the only one in the United States to actively recruit students that begin as novices.

After graduating 12 classes of students, for the first time ever, the alumni of ChiArts are coming together to perform in ChiArts: Unleashed. The evening will showcase the skills and disciplines the alumni of ChiArts have continued to develop since graduating in a new collaborative multimedia performance.

The evening will benefit the current programming at the high school in order to continue the opportunities for the scholar artists of Chicago.
