In the 1970’s, some beautiful souls discovered…Dark Side of the Rainbow, also sometimes known as Dark Side of Oz. This is the pairing of Pink Floyd’s 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon with the timeless 1939 film, Wizard of Oz.

Inspired by the absurd & strange synchronicities that happen in this unlikely pairing, Foggy Notion Physical Theatre is taking this concept & turning it into a new devised work of physical theater. In this piece, we watch the land of Oz unravel as the arrival of Pink Floyd's legendary album begins to turn their world upside down. How will they return Oz to normalcy? Will this unlikely team of weirdos become united in their mission to rid Oz of psych rock? Or become infinitely divided? Join our team of weirdos in their mission to get Dorothy home, and rebalance their altered world in an exploration of art, change, and the mystery of why we create.
