ABOUT THE SPACE
In 2011, The Den Theatre leased the loft space to the east, next door. It was originally built out to house classrooms, and for a time, was home to Black Box Acting Academy. Later, the space was reimagined and rebuilt to house two new performance spaces, affectionately known as Theatre 2A and Theatre 2B, which have been home to many exciting theatrical productions over the years. In 2024, The Den Theatre converted the space into an intimate cabaret theatre ideal for smaller comedy shows for which The Den continues to be recognized.
THEATRE 2A
This theatre is a 54 seat, fixed-stage theatre, perfectly suited for intimate stand-up comedy, improv, sketch, cabaret, and solo performance. Fashioned with an established lighting and sound grid, this space also features access to two television monitors for projection needs. It’s small size gives audiences an intimate experience, while maintaining pristine comfort and accessibility.
